Rape – Multiple Victims

The defendant was a student at the University of San Diego and a member of a fraternity. He was arrested after being accused of sexual assault by a fellow student and sorority member after a night of drinking.

News of the accusation spread across campus, and more women came forward to make similar accusations, further solidifying the prosecution’s case.

However, the defense argued convincingly that the original accusation came because the woman, who was white and Catholic, had misgivings the morning after having sex with an African-American. In addition, Bill Nimmo used evidence to show that the other female accusers were in fact scorned lovers fortified by the number of fellow accusers.

The District Attorney’s office investigated and ultimately decided not to pursue charges.
